Installation of DOOSAN 4V 2222TIM Installed in MV Ahuva C&I Vessel at WAS Shipyard

This project involved the installation of a new DOOSAN 4V 2222TIM main marine engine aboard MV Ahuva, a C&I vessel, carried out at WAS Shipyard. The work was undertaken as part of a main propulsion engine replacement and upgrade to support reliable vessel operation. The installation was executed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and standard marine engineering practices, and included engine positioning and alignment, connection of associated mechanical systems, installation of ancillary components, and final checks to ensure proper integration and readiness for service.

Scope of Work Included

Preparation of engine room and foundation for new engine installation

Connection of fuel, cooling, lubrication, and exhaust systems
Electrical and control system connections and verification
Pre-start inspection and installation checks
Test running of the engine to confirm proper operation
